At B&H Emergency Medical Training, we are proud to offer a comprehensive curriculum based on the guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association (AHA). Our curriculum is designed to provide high-quality education and training in life-saving techniques, ensuring that our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. The following is an overview of our curriculum aligned with AHA guidelines:
Our BLS course focuses on essential life support techniques for healthcare providers and individuals who may need to respond to cardiac emergencies. The curriculum covers the recognition of life-threatening emergencies, CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants, proper use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and effective ventilation techniques.
The ACLS course is designed for healthcare professionals who are involved in the management of cardiac emergencies or work in critical care settings. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of effective team dynamics and communication during resuscitation efforts. Topics covered include advanced airway management, pharmacology, cardiac rhythm recognition, and the integration of ACLS algorithms in emergency situations.
Our PALS course is specifically tailored for healthcare providers who care for critically ill or injured infants and children. The curriculum focuses on the assessment and treatment of pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress and failure, shock, and cardiac arrest. Participants learn to recognize and manage pediatric arrhythmias, perform high-quality CPR, and effectively use equipment such as bag-mask devices and defibrillators.
